I have had this stuck in my brain ever since I bought the cute roll of Love My Tapes washi tape at my local scrapbook store. And when I saw the challenge at The Card Concept, I decided it was time to break it out and start playing. I pulled out a lot of (alas!) retired stuff as well, deciding just to let myself have fun using what would look right, no matter whether it is now available or not. I chose to use the Shabby Chic style for the challenge. Lookie:
GOJUS! (YILM!) The patterned paper and the resist music cardstock are retired. The zig zag stitching rub on from Little Daisy is retired (and a good thing too, it was really hard to use!) The Verve set Beautiful You where I got the greeting is retired. But everything else is available!
I stamped the greeting in black ink and heat embossed with clear powder.
I love the Cheerful Cages dies, and I shamelessly mixed one of the birds from the Simon Says Stamp Clouds dies along with the Cloud Duo dies from Taylored Expressions.
The final touch was this tiny Key Ring Charms from Maya Road.
Below is my list of products that I used (that are still available), and I have used affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Ribbon Resource, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you. Stampin' Up! product links lead to their webstore, so please be sure to indicate your preference in demonstrator if it doesn't come up automatically!
