I have someone very special graduating this year, my daughter Laurel. So I have been playing with some new graduation stamps I got from Taylored Expressions, and I decided to throw my hat in the ring for the Share Joy Challenge hosted by TE.
I didn't end up using the sketch but I did play several places on the Tic Tac Toe board, including yellow, gradiant/ombre, enamel dots, stencil, no patterned paper, and stitching. As it so happens, the school colors of my daughter's college are yellow and black, so it worked out nicely. Lookie:
STINKIN' CUTE! I love those Grumplings SO MUCH. They make me all kinds of happy!
I colored this grumpy guy with Copics and cut him out with the included die.
I created the ombre background by using a distress blending tool and Memento Dandelion ink. I then stenciled over the top with the Starry Sky Vertical stencil from MFT. I heat embossed this greeting and accented it with some Little B tape. A couple Doodlebug Sprinkles Graduation stars and some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling White sequins were the final finishing touches.
I stamped the inside with this funny greeting.
