Like many of you, I bought the Acts of Kindness set from Hero Arts in support of the Share Handmade Kindness Challenge, with 25% of the profits going to the Kind Campaign, which is a campaign to end bullying.
I wanted to use the phrase "Throw Kindness Around Like Confetti" and I thought of this Mama Elephant set that I have, Ella & Friends. I felt that Ella looked like she could be throwing confetti, and then it was a question of where to get a stamp with confetti on it that was small enough for Ella to throw. And I found the perfect one! Lookie:
STINKIN' CUTE!! (YILM!) Can you guess where I got the confetti stamp?
It's from the Stampin' Up! set Celebrate Today. I stamped it three times with three different colors of ink, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun, and Tempting Turquoise.
I colored Ella and her little hedgehog friends with Copics.
I added some glitz with the Sakura Stardust pen as well as punching out some Gold Glimmer paper with the Confetti Stars border punch, a perfect application for this!
I added a nice greeting for the inside.
Below is my list of products that I used (that are still available), and I have used affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Amazon, Scrapbook.com, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you. Stampin' Up! products lead to their webstore, so please be sure to indicate your preference in demonstrator if it doesn't come up automatically!
