I have not only bought digital stamps from Power Poppy, but I have also acquired some of their clear sets as well. Marcella wraps them in a strip of Italian Wrapping paper that is so gorgeous, I couldn't bring myself to throw it away.
And she hand letters the notes on the front! SO fun!
I have held on to those strips of paper because I love the colors and the richness of the gilding. I decided to use one of the digital stamps I purchased, Everything's Rosy, and make a card using those colors and to use some of the wrapping paper on my card. Lookie:
GOJUS!! (YILM!) Because I used the image full size, this made for a very large card so that I could show a bit of the wrapping paper.
I colored the image with Copics and then used a Sakura Stardust pen to get that gilded look the wrapping paper has.
And for more glitz, I dug out an old Cuttlebug die with some gold card stock.
Beautiful matching ribbon from May Arts/Ribbon Resource. I also cut out a little shape using Hip Clips from MFT.
And I added a little of the Sakura Stardust pen to the word "rosy."
I love how it turned out!
