It's time for a new Fab Friday challenge over at the Fab Friday Challenge Blog!
This week we have a color challenge:
Okay, so black and orange automatically made me think of Halloween. But the Bermuda Bay? Could I make it work? Totally. I could totally make it work. Lookie:
I haven't made a square card in a while. And when it comes to Halloween, I really love a vintage look. I decided to use the Woodlands embossing folder, inking it up with Soft Suede, and using the Typeset Specialty DSP to get that vintage look. I loved it SO much, it was only a matter of deciding where to add the raven, the owl, and some leaves.
I used the 2-3/8-inch scallop bunch with the black glimmer paper from the holiday catalog to create the cool starburst shape under the greeting.
The Tangelo Twist 5/8" Striped Cotton Ribbon trimmed with a pinking shears makes a great accent.
And two rhinestones colored with a black Copic marker are the final touches.
You'll be able to see all of our creations and post one of your own by visiting the Fab Friday blog. You can also visit the other DT members' blogs and see what they've done with this challenge:
