Well, I got home, doncha know, and found I had not taken a picture of this card so that I could show you, then it took a few days for me to get around to taking one. Just a few things in the way, like working, buying stuff for people to eat, cooking the stuff (occasionally), and working got in the way. Then I actually had a class, which again you missed if you weren't here, and so I finally got a picture of this card that I did for Lyssa Zwolanek's swap. Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Yippee-Skippee; Paper - Birthday Basics DSP, Soft Sky, Gumball Breen, Bermuda Bay, Cantaloupe, Summer Starfruit; Ink - Raspberry Ripple, Basic Gray; Other - Alphabet Press embossing folder, Chalk Talk Framelits, Summer Starfruit stitched satin ribbon, Basic Gray marker, Boho Blossoms punch, Brights Candy Dots, Stampin' Sanding System.
STINKIN' CUTE!!! (YILM!) It's not often that I make a card which only has a greeting stamp on it, but I felt that this cute bicycle paper from the Birthday Basics DSP really could stand alone with just the greeting stamp.
So how have you all been? It's that time of year here, which means that I had to take the Boy WTWF over to buy uniforms for school. Even if he weren't going to high school and needing a complete kit-out, I would have had to buy new ones anyway, because he is now taller than ME, taller than both the girls, and looks like he will hit at least 6 feet if not more by the time he's done. He's also got a 'STACHE, albeit a wispy one, which he will have to shave off before he goes to school in 2 more weeks! And he will be getting his braces on as well over the next 3 weeks, so he's in for a fun time. Me too. Joy.
It's going to be time to get hair cuts, buy school supplies, and finish up doctor appointments. Time to buy stuff and more stuff. Thankfully, my parents, who are saints, gave us their usual contribution the Tinklenberg Tuition Fund so books and uniforms are covered.
And, in 4 weeks I get to move the oldest into her dorm. So I really MUST make time to stamp just to keep my sanity! Ta!
