So the other evening I was cruising through Facebook and came across this amazing video. I got so excited, I bought all the stuff from Chibitronics I needed to make a card that would light up, and when they got here, I realized I needed some stamp sets to use with them. So, I headed off to my local scrapbook store and bought some new sets, of which this set was the first one that caught my eye. I got busy after watching videos and getting comfortable with how to do it. I was so excited when the circuit I made worked! Lookie:
STINKIN' CUTE! (YILM!) Well, it doesn't look like anything out of the usual thing I do (however AWESOME that usually is, LOL) until you see this:
Wow!!! You need to pop the image above the electronic circuit, so I ended up using two pieces of self adhesive fun foam that I had die cut just to get a smooth even look when viewed from the side.
Since this is a birthday card, I added a little glitz with my Sakura Stardust pen. The furniture was all colored with Copics and I did the background with Distress inks after masking off the furniture.
This was so fun! I was thrilled to find out that Chibitronics sells through Amazon, so I have linked up their products through Amazon in the links below.
Below is my list of products that I used (that are still available), and I have used affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Ribbon Resource, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you. Stampin' Up! product links lead to their webstore, so please be sure to indicate your preference in demonstrator if it doesn't come up automatically!
