It's that time again, time to freak out with the Freaks on our monthly blog tour! If you've just arrived from Cindy Elam's blog, you are in the right spot!
But if you started right here, fear not! You can manage to get all
the way around the entire tour just by following the links at the
bottom of each post.
This post is going live on the evening of the 19th, so if you find some posts in our tour have not yet posted, please be patient. The entire tour should be accessible at some point this evening. Keep checking back!
The theme of this tour is Easter and Spring projects. I know I am ready for spring...if it ever gets here!!! Let me tell you that when it comes to winter, ain't nobody got time for that!
For my first project, I have a card with a butterfly, because spring is all about butterflies, yes? Yes!
Ingredients: Stamps - Swallowtail, Vintage Verses (SAB), Itty Bitties; Paper - More Amore Specialty DSP, Pool Party, Very Vanilla, Primrose Petals; Ink - Primrose Petals, Pool Party, Versamark; Other - Hearts Aflutter Framelits, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Labels Collections Framelits, Pool Party Seam Binding Ribbon, Pool Party EP, dimensionals, sponge wedges, Designer Builder Brads.
GOJUS!!! (YILM!) I just love this big butterfly, which one of my clever friends likes to call "Mothra". This is not Mothra!! It's a beautiful (yes big) flutterby. Not a moth! I had fun with this paper, which has so many of the colors I really love, including Pool Party. You think if I beg really hard, they will keep Pool Party around, just for me? Pwease? Well, we shall see. I am bending all my acquired psychic resonance west to Utah, to influence the powers that be...OHM....wait, that's not...well, anyway...next card!
For my second project, I decided to do an Easter card. But wait! I don't have any Easter-themed stamps or paper! Or do I? I got busy and....
Ingredients: Stamps - Itty Bitties, Delightful Dozen; Paper - Birds of a Feather DSP, Subtles Patterned Paper Stack, Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette; Ink - Island Indigo, Raspberry Ripple; Other - Apothecary Accents Framelits, Scallop Oval punch, Bitty Punch pack, Designer Builder Brads, Raspberry Ripple stitched satin ribbon, Dotted Scallop ribbon punch, dimensionals, Primrose Petals marker, Signo White gel pen.
GOJUS! (YILM!) The Birds of a Feather DSP made a really great Easter card, don't you think?
I love the Designer Builder Brads, don't you? They make such a wonderful accent to both of these cards.
I also love the sentiment on the butterfly card, which I remind you is part of a set you can get free for Sale-A-Bration, which ends on March 22nd! Be sure to get your orders in before it's over!
Well, it's time for you to head on down the blog tour road. Next stop is a very talented Freak, Barb Mullikin. I know she's got some GOJUS projects to show you! Ta!
