Welcome back to the Paper Crafts Crew Challenge! This week we have a sketch challenge:
Now, I JUST got some new Waffle Flower sets. I just love the new illustrator they have, Helen Dardik. Her designs are so unique and whimsical. I knew this one would be perfect for this sketch, and it was! Lookie:
STINKIN' CUTE and GOJUS too! Tis was the first set I reached for because I had a specific person for this card in mind who is going through a bit of a rough patch right now.
While I knew I would stamp the flowers in the background in different colors, I wasn't sure if stamping and coloring in the girl image would work that well, but it DOES. I ended up cutting out this image and the speech bubble with the PixScan sheet on my Silhouette Cameo, but there are matching dies for this set, which I have linked below.
I pupped up both the girl and the speech bubble on foam dots.
I used a piece from the MFT Blueprints 27. It isn't double ended like this, but I cut it once, flipped the die around, and cut it a second time it would look like this.
Some retired washi and a couple of Doodlebug Sprinkles in this corner.
I put the baker's twine bow here in the corner where I thought it fit best.
I so love how this turned out, and so did the recipient! I might even make another one just like it...so cute!

Below is my list of products that I used, and I have used compensated affiliate links where they were available, as I now participate in affiliate programs for Simon Says Stamp, Amazon, Ellen Hutson LLC, Scrapbook.com, Gina K, Sizzix, and Blick Art Supplies. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra and helps support my blog and my artistic endeavors, and I thank you. Stampin' Up! links lead to their website, where you can select the demonstrator of your choice or check out without one.
