If I could get just one set from the Holiday Catalog, I'd have to pick this one, every time. I just love scene building sets, they are so versatile and allow so much creativity. It's also photopolymer, so building scenes is simple since you can see exactly where you are stamping. Plus, this set can be colored, and with the new Blendabilities, I want more sets I can color!
However, I knew I didn't want to color with Blendabilities for my first card. I wanted to paint with my Aquapainter and ink pads on Shimmery White cardstock, heat embossing the images first to keep them crisp and black, and so that's what I did. Lookie:
GOJUS!!! (YILM!) I wasn't originally going to get the new stapler, but as so often happens, my BFF Wendy persuaded me that it was going to make my socks go up and down, and so I did. The staples are smaller than your standard, so if you find yourself lusting after tiny wee staples, then make sure you get one of these with plenty of refills (the stapler does not come with any staples so you have to buy those too). I have to say it's an extremely well-designed stapler and very comfortable in your hand.
I love the new Lucky Stars embossing folder too... So cute!
Here's the list of schtuff I used to make my card, available in my webstore, just click on a product to go there:
