By now you've probably seen a lot of samples with Work of Art. Except here. Because after I got it I stared at it, unable to think of a single thing to do with it that had not already been done by someone else. This often happens to me with sets that a lot of people get at once and start using immediately.
I'll get over it. I will. But I did think of ONE thing to do with it that no one else has. Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Swallowtail, Work of Art, Gorgeous Grunge; Paper - Moonlight DSP Paper Stack, Sahara Sand, Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey; Ink - Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey; Other - Banners Framelits, Hearts A Flutter Framelits, Rhinestones Basic Jewels, Hello Honey Stitched Satin, dimensionals, sponge wedge.
GOJUS!!! (YILM!) I used the brush strokes in Work of Art to "paint" the butterfly. I did stamp off and use the second generation of ink and added some small splashes with Gorgeous Grunge to heightened the "painted" effect.
We are going to do this card at my class on Monday since it's so fun and easy! My class is themed "Out with the Old, in with the New" and will be a mix of outgoing Occasions catalog sets and incoming new stuff! It has been moved forward a week because of the holiday at the end of the month, so if you live in Metro Detroit, check out my events page for more information!
