Oh boy! That's a lot of ribbon! However I understand the need to want it all, after all it's sooo pretty! And matches your other color pallets, hence..the craft room overload! Good Luck!!

Jan, you are a true woman after my heart...I always have good intentions to rid myself of craft things that I have not used or have gone out of favor....but then that little voice gets me, "you may need that someday"...and I cave...

Kristine Vencel

Hah! You make me laugh, Jan! I do so enjoy these mini-stories of your wild & crazy life. Plus, you make some mean cards, too!
Thanks for sharing your stories with us.

I think you speak for many of us Jan! We're all hoarders, or most of us anyway. That's part of the attraction of this hobby is that we can hoard stuff under the lame idea that 'someday' we'll use it! 'Someday' has not yet arrived in my house either! I do have a ribbon problem too and just recently packed most of the ribbon I rarely use into one of those plastic carts with the drawers. The common ribbon - or the stuff I use all the time is in a 'bin' that I must have beside me or under my table while in the throes of creating a masterpiece, just so I don 't have to go on a fruitless hunt for it. Nothing spoils creativity more than not having the right supplies at the right time. I must say though that I'm drooling over your organization skills with your ribbon. Looks neat and well organized!

You crack me up...but I so understand. I spent most of my vacation this week purging and it was heart breaking to see how much stuff I have that I've never used. I come!

Great storage idea! I have given up on getting all the ribbons because there are too many stamps and fun accessories to play with now! I have been using my washi tape to keep my spools from unwinding.
