It's time for a new Fab Friday challenge over at the Fab Friday Challenge Blog! Yes, we took a bit of a vacay over the holiday season, but we are back and ready to challenge you!
This week we have a sketch challenge:
I'm not one to normally follow a sketch to the letter, and the paper doily at the bottom was something I was not sure I wanted to use. I have them, sure, but they had yet to be used on a card by me. But I was pretty short on time today, so I just decided to go with it. And I'm pretty jazzed about how it looks! Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Summer Silhouettes, Hardwood, Loving Thoughts; Paper - Smoky Slate, Pool Party, Summer Starfruit; Ink - Pool Party, Summer Starfruit, Basic Gray, Craft White; Other - White Tea Lace paper doily, Basic Gray stitched grosgrain, Neutrals Candy Dots, White Signo gel pen, Pool Party Marker, Summer Starfruit marker, sponge wedges.
GOJUS! (YILM)! I love these colors, and I have to say that I find myself turning to Summer Silhouette quite a lot because I love this particular Queen Anne's lace image with flowers. Getting a good picture of this card was a challenge as it was hard to get the white flowers to even show up. Better view here:
Oh, and GOJUS! (YILM!)
