It's time to open dah vault!
We just had our Controlfreaks Christmas swap. I chose to use this fab single stamp, but it is so large, it kind of limits you as to where you can put it on the card. So I decided I would have to make it fab in other ways and chose emboss resist with rather fussy sponging. Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Wonderful Blessing; Paper- Raspberry Ripple, Pool Party, Whisper White; Ink - Raspberry Ripple, Pool Party, Midnight Muse; Other - Circles Collection Framelits, Elegant Stripes embossing folder, Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple stitched satin ribbon, clear EP, sponge wedges, Basics Jewels Rhinestones, Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple markers.
GOJUS!! (YILM!) A closer view:
I started by sponging Pool Party ink in the center, then around the edges with Midnight Muse then Raspberry Ripple, buffing the embossing after each color to remove excess ink. Then I colored over the words and the dots on the outside with marker and ran the Raspberry Ripple marker around the outside to color just the edge. It gave it the look of matting, which I could not have done since my framelits don't have the sizes needed to cut right on the embossed edge of the image.
