Sometimes I just amaze myself. Really.
I was bopping around on Pinterest and found a card that gave me an idea in conjunction to another card that I had seen, and one thing led to another and this card leapt fully formed, much like Athena from the head of Zeus, from my brain into the cardstock and ink.
Oh sure, I had to fiddle with the ribbon to see which color worked the best, and I had to decide on which greeting I wanted to use and where to place it. But mostly it is just as it was in my mind's eye.
What's that? Shut up Jan and show the card? Oh, yeah, that! Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Santa's List, Ex Libris, Perfectly You; Paper - Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla; Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green; Other - Hearts Aflutter Framelits, Regals Candy Dots, Very Vanilla Seam Binding, Frosted Finishes embellishments, sponge wedges, dimensionals.
GOJUS!!! (YILM!) Now you can see what I'm talking about! And the great thing is this card really is nothing but well-placed stamping with precise cutting, a bit of sponging, and a fancy doodad for good measure. I had bought this background after seeing a great card on Pinterest with it, but I had not even mounted it let alone stamped with it.
You can buy these stamps and all the schtuff I used to make this card in my webstore!
