This post is going live on the evening of the 19th, so if you find some posts in our tour have not yet posted, please be patient. The entire tour should be accessible at some point this evening. Keep checking back!
The theme of this tour is Freaky Halloween! I love Halloween! It's really one of my favorite holidays, since this is my favorite time of year.
For my first project, I used one of the hostess sets from the Holiday Catalog combined with a main catalog set. Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Perfectly You, Six-Sided Sampler; Paper - Naturals Composition Specialty paper, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla; Ink - Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black; Other - Honeycomb embossing folder, Hexagon punch, Witches Brew Designer Washi Tape, 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta ribbon, Stampin' Spritzer, sponge wedges, dimensionals, Neutrals Candy Dots.
GOJUS!!! (YILM!) I enjoyed creating this grunge Halloween look, wanting something edgier than the standard Halloween card, and by George, I think I got it! I used the woodgrain paper from the Natural Composition paper, spritzing it with Basic Black ink mixed with rubbing alcohol, then sponging Pumpkin Pie over all, rubbing it in well to bring out the woodgrain. The washi tape adds a perfect touch!
