Rain or shine?
Not in Michigan! More like COLD and COLD and more COLD. Not much snow here, but they have gotten socked on the west side of the state with all the lake-effect snow. Brrrr...they can have it.
But Rain or Shine is the name of one of the new stamp sets in the Spring Season Catalog. I had this BRILLIANT idea for this set, so I set about creating it. Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Rain or Shine; Paper - Sunshine & Sprinkles DSP, Marina Mist, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight; Ink - Whisper White, Marina Mist, Melon Mambo; Other - Labels Collection Framelits, Cloudy Day embossing folder, Borders Scoring Plate, Scallop Oval punch, 1-1/4" scallop circle punch, 1" circle punch, Pacific Point marker, clear EP, Daffodil Delight stitched grosgrain, dimensionals, Signo white gel pen, metallic brads.
GOJUS! (and STINKIN' CLEVER!!!) (YILM!) I wanted to show both the rain and the sunshine on my card. I love the colors in this DSP, so bright and cheery! Definitely something we need in the midst of this winter gloom!
Well, y'all stay warm (though I know some of you don't even need to try very hard, and I say
to you!) Some day our warmth will come back in Michigan!
Ta!

That is about the most adorable design I've seen with this set!
I passed purchasing it for now, because I can't even begin to think of
sunshine or rain for that matter where I live! We're in a bitter cold snap as well here in Saskatchewan.
Thanks for brightening my day and for the reminder that warm days
will come again!:)

Stinkin' cute and clever...how do you come up with your brilliant ideas? Fantastic use of this set. I haven't got it, yet...but there's still a few months to go before the catty expires. :-)
