It's that time again, time to freak out with the Freaks on our monthly blog tour! If you've just arrived from Robin Spinner's blog, you are in the right spot!
But if you started right here, fear not! You can manage to get all
the way around the entire tour just by following the links at the
bottom of each post.
This post is going live on the evening of
the 19th, so if you find some posts in our tour have not yet posted,
please be patient. The entire tour should be accessible at some point
this evening. Keep checking back!
The theme of this tour is Winter Fun. Here in Michigan, we are still waiting for winter to arrive (rumor has it that winter will be visiting soon, but probably will not leave enough of the white stuff behind to remember her by!)
But for me thinking of snow makes me think of Christmas, so that's what I'm a-doin'! Miss Manners says that the last day to send Christmas cards is on Christmas Eve, so there is still PLENTY of time! Especially the following cards, which are designed to be able to crank out fairly quickly and still look GOJUS!!! Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Scentsational Season, More Merry Message; Paper - Snow Festival DSK, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Baja Breezee Ink - Whisper White craft, Gumball Green; Other - Cherry Cobbler, Silver, and Dazzling Details Glitter Glue, dimensionals, Cherry Cobbler baker's twine, Medium oval punch, Scallop Oval punch
Stinkin cute! (YILM!) I know you all have this paper, right? And you have been wondering how you could squeeze a few more cards out of it. Well here ya go! I have saved the day! I can hear you now, you're saying, "Jan! I have got that paper and now I know what to do with it!" I am so glad to have enabled you!
Now, moving on, I have a card that we actually did at my last class. Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Watercolor Winter, Heart of Christmas; Paper - Raspberry Ripple, Whisper White; Ink - Raspberry Ripple, Illuminate: Other - Raspberry Ripple Stitched satin ribbon, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Essential Paper Piercing Pack, Jewels Basic Pearls, sponge wedges, dimensionals.
GOJUS! (YILM!) I used the Raspberry Ripple for the base image and the Illuminate pad for the lines of the poinsettias. Lookie:
Last but not least is one more card, NOT in my usual style, but I like it nonetheless:
Ingredients: Stamps - Heart of Christmas; Paper - Be of Good Cheer DSP, Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Breen, Very Vanilla; Ink - Versamark; Other - Apothecary Accents Framelets, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack, Cherry Cobbler scalloped tulle, gold EP.
GOJUS! (YILM!) This is pretty simple, but quite classic looking.
Well, it's time for you to head on down the blog tour road. Next stop is my buddy Wendy Weixler. I know she's got some awesome projects for you to ooh and ah over! Ta!

Such lovely cards! I really love them all, but I'm gonna have to CASE that last one--really adore that sentiment with the gold EP!
