It's Fall Controlfreaks Style!
And if you think I'm doing my own parody of Psy's incredible Gangnum Style, you would be right! And I have to say that I was listening to Psy because of my daughters' obsession with Korean pop music long before it was cool. Word.
It's that time again, time to freak out with the Freaks on our monthly blog tour! If you've just arrived from my BFF Wendy Weixler's blog, you are in the right spot!
But if you started right here, fear not! You can manage to get all
the way around the entire tour just by following the links at the
bottom of each post.
This post is going live on the evening of
the 19th, so if you find some posts in our tour have not yet posted,
please be patient. The entire tour should be accessible at some point
this evening. Keep checking back!
Our theme, if you hadn't figured it out yet, is Fall (or Autumn for those who don't go for American terminology). I love the fall!
Cute little munchkins coming to my door asking for....
CANDY!!! And then the next month...
Giving thanks for the bounty that we have and eating...
Pumpkin pie! Yum, yum, yum!
Not to mention that fall also means
Heheheh...which means a nice quiet house for me!
So I have some GOJUS projects for you! Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Spooky Bingo Bits; Paper - Summer Smooches DSP, Lucky Limeade, Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black; Ink - Craft Basic Black, Craft Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry; Other - Basic Black marker, Signo White Gel Pen, Lucky Limeade ruffled ribbon, Bright Designer Series Buttons, dimensionals, sponge wedges.
STINKIN' CUTE!!! (YILM!) I originally did this back in May to submit to Papercrafts using one of their sketches. It didn't get accepted, so I just set it aside thinking it would get put up on the blog sooner or later and then I totally forgot about it until now!
For the next card, I actually got busy last night (yeah, I'm a last-minute stamper and proud of it!) Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Jack of All Trades, Teeny Tiny Wishes; Paper - Orchard Harvest DSP, Core'dinations Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade, Very Vanilla, Raspberry Ripple; Ink - Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade; Other - Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Stampin' Sanding System, Word Window punch, Brushed Bronze Designer Buttons, linen thread, Island Indigo ruffled ribbon, sponge wedge, dimensionals, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack.
GOJUS!!! (YILM!) I'm happy to say I finally got around to using some of the Core'dinations cardstock with the sanding system and Woodgrain folder. What fun and what rich texture it gives! And what a mess it makes! LOL!
My final project utilizes a TIN. It's practically an antique, having been purchased something like 4 years ago from that place that starts with an "M". And yes, I still have all my tins! Other people said, "Why don't you just get rid of all that STUFF?!?!" Because OBVIOUSLY, this stuff comes in handy for this sort of thing, right? So...
Oh, yeah, I should actually show it to you, right? Here it is:
Ingredients: Stamps - Toxic Treats; Paper - Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP, Very Vanilla, Lucky Limeade; Ink - Craft Basic Black, Classic Basic Black, Lucky Limeade; Other - Basic Black EP, Labels Collection Framelits, sponge wedge, 1" circle punch, Lucky Limeade ruffled ribbon.
Stinkin' CAYUTE!!! (YILM!) The perfect container for CHOCOLATE, EH?
Well it's time for you to move on to Dawn Olchefske's blog. I know she's got some really freaky good projects to show you! Ta!
