That you were not at my class this past month. Because I am about to show you the cards we made, one at a time to help you bear it.
This class was themed "Christmas in July" and it was very tempting indeed to pull out the Holiday Catalog schtuff to create the cards for class, but there were still a few days left before my students could order anything from there, so I thought I would spare them. We can always play with those this month! And next month! And the month after!
So instead, I had to make do with other new Christmas schtuff I had bought from the big catalog. Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Star Tree, More Merry Messages; Paper - Whisper White; Ink - Pacific Point; Other - Pacific Point Stitched Grosgrain, Large Oval Punch, Delicate Designs embossing folder, dimensionals, Dazzling Details.
And that's not all! It SPARKLES!
I like glitter. I like the Wizard of Oz. I like the Tin Man.
If you never watched the Christmas Story, you won't get it. Only that whenever anyone in my family says they like something, it triggers this dialogue. Yes, we are weird. And we are PROUD.
Oh, and almost forgot: GOJUS!!! (YILM!) One of my students loved this card so much she bought everything to make it in 3 different colors. And she hasn't made Christmas cards in a few years!
Well, I must be off. The swap mines beckon and stamper's block must be overcome. Keep calm and stamp on!

I like the Wizard of Oz, too. ;-)

Love the clean layers! And the Pacific Point which, until Midnight Muse came along, was my favorite SU blue. Gotta love non-traditional colors for Christmas!

Gosh! Love your card. I am mighty impressed with your talent, even though I am sitting here in good old Europe. TFS!

Love it...as usual! Especially the embossing with ribbon over it.
Your "I like" dialogue reminds me of Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends (a Nick cartoon, for the uninitiated). At our house, the phrase "I like..." spawns responses of "I like chocolate milk" & "I like cereal"

Oh yeah, this is gojus. I think I'd feel more like starting on my Christmas cards if tempertures weren't in the upper 90's here.
