I thought today I would show you another card. I was kind of inspired by Andy Warhol to do this one, with his pictures of Marilyn Monroe, each in a different color. This one kind of gave me a little problem after I had it done:
Ingredients: Stamps –Grunge Rock, Word Play; Paper – Well Worn DSP, Soft Suede, Not Quite Navy, River Rock, Cajun Craze, Marina Mist, Old Olive; Ink - Early Espresso, Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, Cajun Craze; Other – 1” circle punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Stars #2 Bigz Die, Soft Suede 3/8” Taffeta ribbon, Metallic Brads, Dimensionals, Stampin' Sponge wedges, Stampin’ Score with Diagonal Plate.
It's MOJUS!!! (YILM!) The stars between the guitars originally used the small star punch. Which I did not realize had been retired last year! Once I realized that, I scrambled for something I could substitute. The Stars #2 had slightly larger stars...but I didn't have that die! I found a true-to-size picture of it online, printed it off, cut the star out, traced it onto my cardstock and cut the stars out by hand. I ordered the die after that so that I would have it...and then it promptly got retired!
Along with this stamp set, one of my absolute favorites! Sometimes being a demo can break your heart!!
Well, off to work. I have a college-bound daughter who got just a bit more financial aid yesterday from her school of choice, making it possible for us to send her in the fall if she works and chips in a bit. But that means that mamma is gonna be chained to her computer for the foreseable future.
Ta!

Another rocking' card!

One of my favourite sets. You did a great job on this card; love all the details. Also love the story about how you created the stars; you're too cute!
