Work was slow today, my friends, slow as a fat man riding a bicycle to the laundromat with his laundry balanced across the handlebars.
So, other than cleaning (and we know how much I love THAT), there wasn't a lot to do at first on this first day of freedom from the tyranny and mess of children as they wend their ways back to the halls of education. What else to do but make a card! Luckily, I did end up getting some work later in the day and it is very welcome, as we need the money.
I had started this card last night and finished it up today. It will be one of the cards at my newly rescheduled Bank on Birthdays class on January 31st. You can sign up for it here. This is actually great (the rescheduling) because I can use some of the new products from the Occasions mini! Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Create a Cupcake; Paper - Sweet & Sour Specialty DSP, Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, Very Vanilla; Ink - Early Espresso; Other - Build a Cupcake XL punch, Word Window punch, Modern Label punch, paper crimper, dimensionals, 1/2" Rose Red seam binding
Isn't this STINKIN' CUTE?!?!? (YILM!) I have been itching to use this awesome new punch and have many ideas on how to dress it up, including using patterned papers for the cupcake bases and crimping them. I love the option of a little cherry for the top, or you have sprinkles and a candle to choose from as well.
So if you live in SE Michigan and want to sign up (or even if you don't and plan on catching a plane to make it
), visit my class page and use the handy Paypal button to sign up. Ta!

Stinkin' Cute!

Oooh - just wish I lived in SE Michigan, but just a bit too far away to hop on a plane, from Brisbane, Australia! Love your work and love your blog - you truly are awesomely fantastic; I visit regularly, so thought it about time to give you some comment love! Hope you get plenty of work, but not so much you don't get to keep up the "gojus" creations!
