Welcome to the November Tour de Freaks, the most fun you can have with a mouse!
No, not that kind of mouse! This kind:
So get your mouse hand ready to click around the tour and have a good time!
If you just arrived here from LeeAnn Greff's blog, you are in the right place! If you came to my blog first ('cause I'm awesome, I know (YILM!) rest assured that you can continue all the way around the tour and end up back here with me.
This month's tour is all about gift giving and like that. Holiday Gifts, that's what it's called! Here is my first idea for holiday giving:
Ingredients: Paper - Playdate DSP, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise; Other - Read Red, Old Olive, & Chocolate Chip (which is pretending to be Early Espresso...shhhh...pretend you don't notice!) 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, Brights designer buttons, Real Red & Early Espresso 1/8" tafetta ribbon, small star punch, Scallop Square Bigz clear die, Scallop Square Duo Bigz die, Circle Ice rhinestone brad, On Board sheets
I'm always looking for a way of making more out of wallet-sized school pictures. If you are like me, you can't afford to buy the big packages of pictures every year, so it's nice to have a way of gifting someone with your precious children's pictures that are the smaller size. This trifold frame was made with our On Board sheets cut with the Scallop Square Bigz clear die and layered up with the new Scallop Square Duo with the Playdate DSP. And before I forget:
IT'S STINKIN' CUTE!!!! (YILM!)
(You knew that was coming!) Of course, these are my lovely children's school pictures from this year...all except for Emily's. She decided she didn't like hers this year and had it retaken today. And since the pack of pictures I bought last year didn't even include wallets, I had to grab this one from 2 years ago! Once the new pics come in, I'll switch them.
If you all are interested, I'll have a little tutorial sometime next week on how to make one of these.
Onward!
One of the things that we sell that makes a great gift is, of course, our Simply Adorned line. Lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Bells & Boughs, Broadstreet Alphabet; Paper - Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla; Ink - Early Espresso, Rich Razzleberry; Markers - Rich Razzleberry, Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Always Artichoke, Pear Pizazz, Daffodil Delight, More Mustard; Other - Simply Adorned 1" x 1-1/4" Charm, Basic Jewels, Smooch Gold Accent Ink
GOJUS!!! I think anyone (well, any WOMAN!) would love to receive a beautiful necklace like this with her initial in it. I know I did, when I made it for myself and said, "Self, Merry Christmas! Have this lovely necklace!" And being the polite person I am, of course I thanked myself quite warmly. (YILM!)
Look at the flip side:
Ingredients: Stamps - Extreme Elements, Grunge Rock; Paper - Marina Mist; Ink - Marina Mist, Rich Razzleberry, Wild Wasabi; Other - Basic Jewels.
GOJUS!!! (YILM!) I actually made this insert at Wendy's house during convention and totally forgot to show y'all until now!
So there you have it. My holiday giving ideas. I hope you liked them! And now it's time for you to use that mouse of yours and hop to Cindy Major's blog! And remember, keep your inkpads wet and your pants dry! Ta!

Love your photo frames idea. I much prefer a creative way to display photos. The necklaces are understated and beautiful. Now I am inspired to try the monogram and taking my cue from you, "gift" myself!

You KNOW I love you, right?? And every single stinkin' thing you ever make, right??? Those frames are just precious (as are the children in the pix!)!! And you KNOW I'm gonna love ANYthing you half-created at my house, too!! (Not to mention the fact that you saved my bacon on the tour this month!! Thanks, friend!) :)

Jan, your Broadstreet alphabet monogram in the Simply Adorned necklace is great -- I'm running over to order that alphabet right now!
