Yes, once again it is time to celebrate all that is Freaky, with the monthly Tour de Freaks! Chances are you've landed here from Mary Brown's blog, but if you haven't, feel free to keep going. You'll be able to do the complete tour no matter where you start!
The theme this month is the Occasions Mini catalog. We've all been making large withdrawals from our mojo accounts to showcase these great products and hopefully inspire you to heed the call of psychic resonance!
My first project features a technique from the latest issue of Technique Junkies newsletter, "Wisped Frames":
Ingredients: Abundant Hope; Paper - Almost Amethyst, Apricot Appeal, Regal Rose, Whisper White; Ink - Basic Grey, Almost Amethyst; Markers - Certainly Celery, Almost Aemthyst, Apricot Appeal, Regal Rose, Old Olive, Barely Banana, Creamy Caramel; Other - Scallop Trim Border Punch, Certainly Celery 1/4" grosgrain, dimensionals, sponge wedge
GOJUS!!! (YILM!) This card is one that my students will be doing at my "Spring Can't Come TOO SOON!" class this month!
And since I was in a spring kind of mood, lookie:
Ingredients: Stamps - Garden from the Heart, Whimsical Words; Paper - Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack, So Saffron, Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery; Ink - Basic Brown; Other - Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Pretty in Pink Sending Love epoxy brads, silver brad, white gel pen, dimensionals, 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" circle punches, So Saffron striped grosgrain ribbon, aquapainter
OMGOJUS!!! I love the soft color of this paper and thought it looked a lot like some previous In Colors that I have been mourning for a while now!
And finally for the piece de resistance:
Ingredients: Stamps - Le Jardin Botanique, Extreme Essentials, Calendar Alphabet & Numbers; Paper - So Saffron, Pale Plum, So Saffron; Ink - Basic Grey, Regal Rose, Rose Red, So Saffron, Old Olive Soft Suede, Rich Razzleberry, Brocade Blue, Real Red; Other = Simply Adorned 1" x 1 1/4" charm, Simply Adorned 24" chain, black gingham ribbon, Beautiful Wings Embosslit
GOJUS!!! A close up of the front:
And the back, because everyone knows how much I love myself:
I had been very patiently waiting for these to become available so I could take advantage of the discount we got on them from attending convention. Once I got mine, I was very impressed by the look and feel of the charm. The cool thing about these charms is if I get tired of what I've put inside, I can simply make something new and insert it and have a whole new look. I can save all the inserts and swap them out! I can make one to match every outfit I own!!!!
Oh...wait...most of the outfits I own consist of jeans, a hoodie of some kind, and a t-shirt.
I probably won't need one for every outfit after all.
Well, as much as I'd like to keep you here forever, it's time to let you proceed onward to the next Freak, Robin Spinner. Y'all come back now, y'hear? Ta!

I just LOVE your use of color! Your combos are always so fresh and different. Every single project just ROCKS!
