Really, Michigan. This isn't funny and you are 5 days late!
As you can see, my morning is off to a great start! I took Laurel to the bus stop only to find out after we had been there 5 minutes that the bus had broken down. I had to drive her all the way to school, then come back and take the other two off to their school. I was in the car for a solid hour and a quarter this morning! Out in this glorious white stuff. Ugh.
I was hoping we'd at least get enough to make a snow day, but no dice. Only 3.9 inches and most of that melted as soon as it hit the ground. It's still falling, but they expect us to only get one or two more inches.
You may be astonished that I would want a snow day, after all normally I would look forward to Monday as an untrammeled day of playing while everyone was absent. But since I've gotten all three scrapbook pages for the Artisan Award done (or mostly done), four cards and one 3-D item and my ideas for the remaining card and 3-D item depend on paper that is arriving tomorrow on the big brown truck, I find I get to take a break. It would have been nice to sleep in, LOL!
I'll try to catch up on laundry and do a few other household things while I am waiting, plus actually make something besides a project for Artisan! It was an intense week of working to get this much done, so in a way, I hate to break the Mojo at this point, but I'll try to keep my hand in and it will give me something to show off...I mean, share with all of you!
In the meantime, I can SHARE this card I made sometime last week, I don't remember when...before I went into Artisan overdrive. Lookie:
Ingredients: (all SU!) Stamps - Great Friend; Paper - Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Basic Grey, Whisper White; Ink - Basic Grey, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Cameo Coral; Other - Matchbox Bigz XL die, Butterflies Bigz Die, Pretties kit, Whisper White Tafetta Ribbon, Going Grey Marker, dimensionals, sponge wedges, paper piercing tool, ticket corner punch.
GOJUS!(YILM!)
Well, I seem to have run out of blathering already...laundry has that deadly effect...probably why I avoid doing it until I absolutely must! Ta!

Jan a gojus card! You never disappoint. What is with the weather this year? One day it is 78, the next morning it is snowing and 43. And the wind has been so extreme even for Ks! Can see why the early settlers could go crazy from the wind!! Hey, there is my excuse!!
Thanks for sharing,
Deborah

Sigh. People not from Michigan (or the Midwest in general) cannot comprehend that 3.9 inches of snow, with snow still falling from the sky, does not close the schools. Sigh - I miss the Midwest.

Beautiful card, as always!! You should come move to Texas. If someone dumps the ice from their coke cup onto the road the whole state shuts down!! 3.9 inches of snow?? First off, we'd round that up and would be certain it was at least a foot!! Now this is in our larger towns. In the itty bitty towns, we had two schools shut down cuz too many kids were out sick with the flu this year!! Only one school in the whole town.

Jan, Love the pictures of the snow! Makes me almost miss Michigan! :) Thanks for sharing the card. It is absolutely beautiful! Want some Texas weather? One day in late March it was 37 when I went to work (5:05 a.m. and when I left work @ 3:30, it was 87! :)

Dear Jan, I am having a difficult time with accessing your page. Feedblitz says you have made changes. When I go on though it comes up with this long page of text. I won't let me see anything. Am I doing something wrong? Pam Tomkinson
