After the day of disease, I managed to make a card last night using the latest Mojo Monday sketch by Julee Tilman:
Now, I've got a ton of stuff I ordered in the preorder plus Sale-A-Bration goodies that have just gone UNUSED, which is horribly tragic, I'm sure you'll agree. I need to really use up more of the stuff I have, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I would have to be stamping 20 hours a day, 7 days a week for a couple of years before I even made a serious dent in it. But we must try, mustn't we? Otherwise, our spouses just might insist that we stop buying and just use what we have!
ANYWAY, I dug out the set, Just Buzzin' By, which I have seen so many cute samples for but so far had not managed to use it in any significant way, the Delicate Dots paper from the Sale-A-Bration brochure and the So Saffron Grosgrain ribbon from the same place and got busy:
Ingredients: (all SU!) Stamps - Just Buzzin' By; Paper - Barely Banana, Basic Black, Whisper White, More Mustard, Delicate Dots DSP; Ink - Basic Black, More Mustard, So Saffron, Brocade Blue, Bashful Blue, Basic Grey; Other - Silver Brads, Flower Brads, aquapainter, So Saffron 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, Basic Black marker, sponge wedges, 3/16" corner rounding punch, Horizontal Slot punch
STINKIN' CUTE doesn't even begin to describe it!!! (YILM!!) I am happy I finally broke through my Just Buzzin By Block...it's amazing what a good sketch can do!
Well, I need to sort all that laundry I did the other day and maybe get some stampin' time in. So far, I have not caught the stomach flu, thanks to good hygiene and clean living. I will be continuing the manic hand-washing and disinfecting for a few days...just in case. Ta ra!
