Waiting, waiting, waiting...

For my new catalogs to arrive tomorrow!

I'm excited! Not so excited to see I don't have the usual amount of money to spend on my first order. Taking the money I get paid for playing the organ at church and buying groceries instead of stamps has sure made an impact on my SU! budget. Oh well...I'll find SOMETHING, I'm sure! I guess it's time to revise my retired-stamps-for-sale list and make an effort to move some of them out the door so I have money to spend.

In the meantime, I can share this card I made on Saturday morning, can't I?

Sweetstems010909

Ingredients: (all SU!) Sweet Stems (new SS 2009 IBC), Warm Words (saved from the doom of retirement!); Paper - Raspberry Tart DSP (new SS 2009 IBC), Rose Red, Regal Rose, Whisper White; Ink - Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss; Other - Regal Rose, Basic Black & Rose Red markers, sponge wedges, Pretty in Pink taffeta, black gingham ribbon, gold brads, paper piercing tool, dimensionals, Crystal Effects

Isn't it GOJUS?!?!?! This set, Sweet Stems, will be in the new catalog. The flowers have a tiny dot of Crystal Effects on them to give them a bit of bling.

I made it on Saturday, since there was no going anywhere. We got 6.5 inches of snow. I had, wisely, done the church bulletin on Friday, so I could stay home out of the weather. I think it's safe to say that we are all sick and tired of snow around here. And we are supposed to get more tonight and tomorrow. Oh joy.

Well, I have a child with a Science Fair project who needs this computer, so I suppose I had better get off and let her get on with it. If you look this way tomorrow and see just a pair of scissor handles sticking out of the snow, call for help.

What a GORGEOUS card!! I love the way you used two ribbons together for the tie. Like you, I'm thrilled that Warm Words has been "saved!"

Beautiful card, Jan! I love the Raspberry Tart paper!

I wish that you could send enough snow to the Columbus area for a snow day! We get an inch here or there, but darn it, it is not enough to call off school!

Great card but an even better journal. I am sitting at my desk and grinning. I get such a kick out of your writing. I`ll look out for bright colored scissors for the future!
Hugs with a grin

Absolutely Gorgeous card! Say, while you're at it, please send some snow to NE. We've just been getting cold air and winds!

Beeeeeeeeeutiful card !! Snow sounds fun, but probably only because I don't live in it. I only visit it LOL. Here in southern California we are in the 80's this week. Definately not January weather.

my catties are due tomorrow and I can't wait!!!!!
