Yes, it was an EXTREMELY productive weekend for me! I got to play with sketches, which is always fun! And I got to play with my Kitchen Sink Stamps too!
So without further ado:
Ingredients: Kitchen Sink Stamps - 3-Step Holly & Mistletoe, Backgrounds & Borders, Never at a Loss for Words (coming out the end of November/beginning of December); Paper - Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Ruby Red, Brushed Gold, Handsome Hunter, Wild Wasabi; Ink; Certainly Celery, Wild Wasabi, Hnadsome Hunter, Groovy Guava, Ruby Red, Bravo Burgundy; Other- Gold Ribbon (SU! retired), Giga Scalloped Circle Punch (Marvy), Coluzzle, 3/16" corner rounder (SU!), Sakura Clear Glaze Pen, Sakura Stardust Glitter Pen, dimensionals (SU!), gold brads (SU!)
This was using this sketch from Julee T.'s blog, Poetic Artistry. I didn't get it in in time for the contest she holds every week, but I'm still very happy with the results. I didn't have the Spellbinder's dies (I'm gonna buy some...mebbe after I sell some more retired stamps!) that I wanted to get the bigger scalloped circles, but I managed, using the 3/16" corner rounder with the guard off, to get a pretty good result after all.
Pretty good? ACK! I need to get back to saying GOJUS!!!! Must be the Dutch coming out in me!
Now, here's another Kitchen Sink beauty:
Ingredients: Kitchen Sink Stamps - 3-Step Holly & Misteltoe; Paper - Whisper White (bow), Papertrey Stamper's Select White; Ink - Going Grey, Certainly Celery, Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, Ruby Red, Bravo Burgundy; Other - red gingham ribbon (Making Memories)
I've tried and never achieved a simple one layer card before. They always seemed to be missing something. But I finally did it!!! The trick is having the right cardstock (the Papertrey is definitely the way to go for that) AND having the right stamps certainly helps. Yes, I think it's GOJUS...but I probably won't do a lot of them because I LOVE to layer!
One more Kitchen Sink beauty, this time using this sketch from Beate's blog, Fresh & Fun:
Ingredients: Kitchen Sink Stamps 3-Step Turkey Trot, Backgrounds & Borders; Paper - More Mustard (textured), Really Rust, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip; Ink - Apricot Appeal, Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust, More Mustard, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip; Other - 5/8" Old Olive grosgrain, Hodgepodge Hardware Aged Copper, copper brads (Making Memories), dimensionals, sewing machine.
Isn't it GOJUS!! I'm on a roll!

Those are beautiful, too - you ARE on a roll!!
