Yes, I've been MIA for the past few days, but between Dan and I having some medical issues, culminating with an ER visit on Wednesday night for him. Add to that a couple days of trying to coordinate different doctor's appointments and the result is I've gotten very little stamping done at all...sigh.
So I had to jump right back in today. Luckily, my endocrinologist's okay for an increase in the amount of Synthroid I take almost 2 weeks ago is finally taking some effect and I have energy again. I've also been trying to figure out new tile and paint colors for our kitchen and visiting various flooring stores is not doing much for my stamp time either. I need to get that done before the snow flies and being anal as I am, of course I can't just pick any ole' floor tile, it's got to be just right.
Well, enough moaning, you're here to see projects and I'm going to give you one!
It's been a while since I had a class at Scrappy Chic, so I have managed to whomp up another squash book, this time for Halloween:
Ingredients: Stamps - Technique Tuesday, Karen Foster Snap-Stamps Casual Medium; Ink - Brilliance Moonlight, Colorbox Chalk Charcoal; Paper - Daisy D's, Bazill; Ribbon - Making Memories; Halloween Brads - Making Memories.
Dare I say it? It's STINKIN' CUTE!!! (YILM!)
Here's some more photos:
Of course, I ended up buying the stamps and the ink pads today so I could work up the sample, so it's quite possible by the time I'm done with the class that it will make enough to pay for everything I've bought! Hopefully a little more!
The only thing missing is the journaling, which I will add later.
If you're interested in attending, the class will be on October 22nd at 6:00 PM at Scrappy Chic and will cost $20. Be there or be square!

Sure hope your hubby is okay. Mine thought he was having a heart attack one night (he's only 36!) and we got to spend the night in the ER also. Come to think of it, I believe it was a Wednesday as well! Anyways, after seeing cardiologists & gasterologists it turns out it's stress. Yippee. That's it, quit your job honey! :) Anyways, pass along good vibes to your hubby & I'm glad you're okay! Cute book by the way!
